The Model 653 amplifier is used for signals with high common-mode voltage, and can handle high normal-mode voltages as well. It features excellent common-mode rejection (CMR), wide bandwidth and a broad range of gain/attenuation settings.
Input signal: 0 to ±100V peak
Input impedance: Differential: 760k ohms; Single-ended: 380k ohms
Common-mode voltage range: ±100V peak
Common-mode rejection: Greater than 100dB,
Gain ranges: Front panel rotary switch selects calibrated gains of 0.01, 0.1, 1,
Gain vernier: Front panel trimpot provides
at least 10:1 attenuation to span ranges
Frequency response: DC-40kHz (-3dB)
Output: ±10V peak (7VRMS) into 2k ohms (or greater) load
Noise: Approx. 100 microvolts p-p RTI at Gain=100
Connectors: Isolated BNC connector for input and output signals
Isolation: Input connector shells floating; output shells common but isolated from chassis ground
Rack power requirement: 115 VAC ±10%, 0.5A max.
Mechanical: 19"W x 5.25"H x 9"D rack adapter for up to eight Model 653 modules (16 channels)
