MODEL 522 LOW-COST AC VIBRATION AMPLIFIER
Description The Model 522 is an AC-coupled proximiter amplifier that plugs into Encore's 19" GPSC instrumentation rack, which accommodates up to eight modules (16 channels). An AC power supply is built into the rack, and provides the required unregulated DC voltages to operate the modules. The amplifier provides gain, noise filtering, integration, and an RMS/DC output for any voltage input signal. Front panel gain range and fine adjustments are provided to match output to desired engineering units. Specifications Transducer excitation: -20VDC at 6mA per channel, on rear panel input connector Input signal: Voltage, 0 to 70VRMS max. Gain: Three calibrated settings of 0.1, 1, and 10, plus 10:1 attenuator Gain warning: Front panel LED warns if attenuator is away from CAL position Integration: One integrator stage provides velocity output from acceleration, or displacement from velocity Integrator frequency: Unity gain at 307Hz, factory adjustable Frequency response: 10Hz to 100kHz, -3dB; header-mounted components allow adjustment of lowpass filter down to 100Hz Signal output: ±10V max, 10mA peak load Output noise: 5 microvolts RMS RTI max., DC Output: Tracks RMS value of AC output Power: Unregulated ±24V from rack-mounted supply Mechanical: 19"W x 5.25"H x 9"D, eight-module (16 channel) rack adapter, Model 4015 GPSC series Carrying case: Two-module (four channel) desktop case, Model 4017-106 |
