Description

The Model 422 is a rack-mounted dual-channel isolation amplifier system, with capacity for up to 20 channels. The following input options are available: RTD, Voltage, Millivolt and Thermocouple- type J, K and T, miniature or standard size connectors. The input is isolated from the output by up to 2500VRMS (3500Vpeak). Open wiring is indicated by a front panel LED for each channel.

Input : Thermocouple, RTD, volts and millivolts

Output: Thermocouple:10mVDC per °C;
RTD output: 0 to +10V = 0 to 200° C;
Millivolt output: 0 to ±100mV = 0 to ±10V;
Volt output: 0 to ±10V = 0 to ±10V

Voltage input scaling: Factory set at unity gain; other gains available

Gain accuracy: ±0.5% max.

Input-output isolation: ±3500VDC or 2500VRMS

Open TC indication: Front panel LED on open channel

Frequency response: Two-pole lowpass filter with -3dB point set at 10kHz

Connections: TC Input: standard round-pin thermocouple connector or mini connector; RTD input: four-pin unpluggable connector; Volt/mV input: unpluggable two-position wireclamp screw terminal

Output: Board-mounted BNC

Mechanical: Bare PC board mounts in ten- board 19” rack adapter, Model 4007-142,
or Model 4007-151 depending on configuration

Power: Regulated ±15VDC from rack-mounted power supply (115VAC input)
