Description

The Model 223 is a two channel F/V module that plugs into Encore's 19" GPSC instrumentation rack, which accommodates up to eight modules (16 channels). An AC power supply is built into the rack, and provides the required unregulated DC voltages to operate the modules.

Specifications

Input: 0.025V peak to 100V peak

Input isolation: Transformer isolated to 1000VRMS

Common mode rejection: 2.5VRMS DC to 1kHz will not trigger the unit

Input comparator: Fixed threshold at 0.050 volts

Frequency range: Single range, factory settable; standard is 10kHz fullscale

Calibration signal: Crystal oscillator provides jumper-selected 100Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 5kHz, or 10kHz signal

Prescaler: Onboard jumper allows division of input frequency by 2, 4, 8, or 16 before F/V conversion

Analog output: 0-10VDC fullscale output, with front panel trimpot to adjust span

Connectors: Front panel BNC for output monitoring

Output noise: 2mV RMS max, DC to 20kHz
