MODEL 165 GENERAL PURPOSE VIBRATION MONITOR

Description

The Model 165 is a compact benchtop instrument, providing switch-selectable acceleration, velocity,
or displacement readings from an attached accelerometer. The front-panel LED meter is calibrated in RMS g's, peak inches/second, or
peak-to-peak mils.

Specifications

Input: Accelerometer - VibraMetrics 7002 (included) or similar

Input monitor: Rear panel BNC allows temporary connection to attached accelerometer with other monitoring/logging equipment

Accel excitation: 4mA ±2% at 24VDC to input connection

Lowpass filter: 1200Hz or customer-specified

Highpass filter: 1.6Hz or customer-specified

Integration: Two stages of integration, with unity gain at 40Hz

Output: Switch-selectable Accel, Velocity or Displacement display

Fault indication: If accelerometer input is open
or shorted, output is clamped to zero and sensor

Enclosure

Cabinet: Aluminum box, 6.5" high x 8.25"
wide x 12" deep; carrying handle on top

Connections: Input signal on BNC connector;
input monitor BNC connector

Cord wrap: Rear panel feet for cable storage; accelerometer mounting stud threads into
rear panel for storage during transportation

Power: 115VAC 50/60Hz to captive linecord
