MODEL 158 VIBRATION AMPLIFIER
Description
The Model 158 converts acceleration signal inputs to velocity outputs. The unit is typically scaled for 2 inches/second peak velocity when used with a 100mV/g accelerometer. Both gain and frequency crossover are internally adjustable.

Output: 4-20mA current loop output, into 0-600 ohms load resistance
Full scale output: 2 inches/second peak velocity results in 20mA output
Zero signal output: Zero acceleration results in 4mA output
Calibration level: 0.14VRMS input (1.4g RMS) at 60.14Hz results in fullscale 20mA output
Frequency range: 5Hz to 2000Hz filtering, or customer specified range
Accel signal output: Buffered accelerometer signal on separate BNC
Sensor fault alarm: Red LED indicates open or shorted accelerometer and reduces 4-20mA output to below 2ma
Output fault alarm: Red LED indicates open condition in 4-20mA output wiring
Power: 115VAC 50/60Hz to attached linecord, with power-on LED and internal fuse
