MODEL 155 GENERAL PURPOSE TRANSDUCER MONITOR/ALARM SYSTEM
Description
The Model 155 assembly consists of eight single-channel signal conditioner cards and four dual-channel alarm cards. The unit monitors acceleration, velocity, displacement, RPM, pressure, or any other critical parameter and provides AC voltage, RMS-DC voltage and 4-20mA current outputs. Two setpoints per signal are settable on the alarm cards, which will hold an over- or under-setpoint alarm condition until reset. Alarms can drive external relays for signaling purposes.
Many configurations are available - click here for a list of available options.

Input signal: RMS-DC output from signal card; can be acceleration,
velocity, displacement, or other signal
Level 1 alarm: Trips when input goes above or below (jumper selectable) trimpot settable level; lights yellow Warning LED after 10 second nuisance delay Level 2 alarm: Trips when input goes above or below (jumper selectable) trimpot settable level; closes relay contact and lights red Alarm LED after 5 second nuisance delay External relays: Provision to drive external relays on Warning and Alarm trips Monitor voltage: One pushbutton per setpoint adjustment connects setpoint voltage to monitoring terminal block for voltmeter connection; when neither button is pressed, buffered input voltage is passed to monitor connection Channel reset: One pushbutton per channel resets Warning and Alarm trips; both alarms light for nuisance delay time when button is pressed; any channels still in an alarmable state will remain set; also activated at system powerup
