Description

The Model 150 consists of a 19" wide x 3.5" high x 12" deep rack adaptor, with standard 19" rack-mounting ears. Operation of the unit is over a wide band of output frequency, in three ranges from 10Hz to 40kHz. The output signal is a pure sine wave, phase-locked to the input signal in a ratio set by two front-panel thumbwheel switches. This allows a 360-per-rev sinewave to be generated from a 2-per-rev tachometer pulse. The output is provided as both a sinewave and a pulse train, on separate connectors.

Input signal: 0.025V peak to 80V peak; BNC on front and rear panels, with select switch

Input comparator: Front panel adjustable trigger threshold from 0.02V to 10V

Pulse output: Logic level (0-5V) output at the input signal frequency; front and rear panel BNCs

Frequency ranges: Front panel switch selects one of three output frequency ranges: 10Hz-400Hz, 100Hz-4kHz, 2kHz-40kHz

Multiply and Divide ratios: Two three-digit thumbwheel switches for entering multiplication ratio

Out of range warning: Front panel warning indicator lights if a different range needs to be selected

Low frequency warning: Input signal below 10Hz (after divider setting) will cause a front panel warning indicator to light

Lock condition warning: Front panel LED lights if internal phase-locked loop unlocks

Frequency display: Front panel LED meter indicates output frequency

Signal output: Sinewave output with amplitude adjustable from 0-8VRMS by front panel trimpot

Pulse output: 0-5V logic levels
