MODEL FL230 VOLTAGE TO FREQUENCY CONVERTER
Description
The Model FL230 is a voltage-controlled oscillator, producing 0-5V
output pulses at a frequency proportional to a voltage or current input
signal. Accuracy is within ±0.25% from 5% to 110% fullscale input.
For the FL230-005, the operating range is -0.6V to +3.4V, allowing operation
at zero input signal. The fullscale output frequency can be factory-set
to any desired range, up to 50kHz. The unit is mechanically and electrically
compatible with Encore's other FlexiLine DIN-rail mounted instrumentation,
and is typically sold as a set with an FL228 F/V.
The FL230-013 adds a 50% duty cycle squarewave current output, suitable
for driving solenoid valves. The amplitude of drive is also controllable
with a 0-10VDC input, for 0-40mA output current.
