Description

The Model FL230 is a voltage-controlled oscillator, producing 0-5V output pulses at a frequency proportional to a voltage or current input signal. Accuracy is within ±0.25% from 5% to 110% fullscale input. For the FL230-005, the operating range is
-0.6V to +3.4V, allowing operation at zero input signal. The fullscale output frequency can be
factory-set to any desired range, up to 50kHz.

Adjustments: Front panel trimpots allow fine calibration of offset and span

V/F - F/V pairing: FL230-003 with FL228-005; FL230-004 with FL228-005; FL230-005 with FL228-007

Connections: Six wireclamp screw terminals accept wire sizes from 24-14 gauge (FL230-013 has 12 terminals)

Mechanical: 2.9" x 3.1" x 0.9" plastic enclosure; mounts on standard 35mm DIN-rail (FL230-013 is 2" thick)

Power: Unregulated 18-30VDC at 25mA max (FL230-013 operates from Encore FL854 supply)
