GENERAL PURPOSE SIGNAL CONDITIONING INSTRUMENTATION
Encore offers a line of General Purpose Signal Conditioning instrumentation
packaged as interchangeable two-channel plug-in modules. Encore's broad product line includes frequency to
voltage converters, strain gage amplifiers, accelerometer conditioners,
digital voltmeters, and DC power supplies. A common CAL input on the
rear of the rack is applied to all modules to allow calibration of
the entire rack. Calibration function depends on the GPSC modules installed; the
Model 633 will apply a shunt calibration resistor across the bridge;
the Model 149 will apply a reference charge source to the input.

- Modules with two outputs per channel typically have an RMS-to-DC output (indicating average vibration level) in addition to the AC output.
- If no two-output modules will be installed, a single-output rack or carrying case can be used.
- The Model 849 DC supply can be used as a primary battery power source, or as a backup to an AC powered rack.
- Full eight-module (16-channel) 19" rack adapters and dual-module benchtop carrying cases are available, both with internal AC power supplies.
