SMF, a division of Encore Electronics, Inc.,
has been designing and fabricating custom enclosures and panels to fulfill our customers' needs for the past 40 years.

We use aluminum, steel and stainless
steel for custom sheet metal fabrication of components. We fabricate front panels, enclosures, heat sinks, base plates and rack assemblies to your specification, including painting and silkscreening of the finished product.

CAD Design

Our design engineer uses computer-based  tools to come up with the initial design of your product. Starting with the use of a CAD system we design your part, drawings, drafting, and finally the CAD layout.

After the design and layout is complete, your order goes to the tooling and machine shop for manufacturing.

We provide you with engineering support during the entire process. SMF delivers the final product to you meeting your exact specification with the highest attention to detail.

Sheet Metal Fabrication & Welding

We have a complete metal fabrication and machine shop. We fabricate sheet metal components in aluminum up to .125"; steel and stainless steel up to 16ga. We'll take care of the subassembly production. Our engineers can work from your drawing or come up with a drawing that fits your requirement.

Our array of machine shop components allows us to manufacture your part with precision using various techniques for shearing, punching, forming, bending, welding, drilling and tapping. We also perform repairs on customer units.

Painting & Screen Printing

Screen printing is a method used to transfer ink onto material. The metal is dipped in a Chromate solution to clean and prepare the part before painting and the screening process begins. SMF has all the know how and equipment to fulfill your request.

We can design the screen with your company logo and other pertinent details and information which will be applied to the front panel or enclosure. No job is too small. We also do commercial screen printing and assembly work for the automotive, military, and aerospace industries.
