MODEL 821 UNREGULATED RACK POWER SUPPLY

Description
The Model 821 is an external power source for most signal conditioning instrumentation.
It features a shielded toroidal power transformer, load-monitor meters for all
outputs and power for two racks of most types of instrumentation. It provides four
floating and regulated DC output voltages. Two 15V outputs are typically connected
as a dual voltage source suitable for amplifier modules while the 5V output is typically
used for TTL logic. A 24V output can be connected as a negative voltage source for
eddy-current probes or as a positive compliance voltage for constant-current circuit
such as required for charge converters. Any output voltages can be reduced, i.e.,
15V to 12V with an internal resistor change.
