MODEL 226 AC STRAIN GAGE CALIBRATOR

Description

The Model 226 provides a calibrated sinusoidal signal
to your strain gage measurement system. A precision cal-resistor in series with a modulation signal is connected across the strain gage. The peak-to-peak value of modulation signal is automatically set to equal the bridge excitation mode.

Specifications

Bridge: 80 ohms to 1K ohm

Bridge excitation: Accepts 0.25V to 15V excitation, for 0.12V to 7.5V gage voltage

Controls: Five-digit cal-resistor thumbwheel,
10 ohms to 1M ohm. Push-to-test button connects internal circuits for self-testing purposes

Frequency: Switch selectable 1kHz or 10KHz

Connectors: Strain gage BNC, Rcal monitor BNC, battery monitor BNC, modulation
signal monitor BNC

Indicators: Bi-color LED's monitor battery and self-test results

Power: Removable 7.2V nicad battery (with 120VAC charger)
