MODEL 220 AC STRAIN GAGE CALIBRATOR

Description

The Model 220 provides a pure sinusoidal signal
of known strain to your strain gage measurement
system. This arrangement simulates actual vibration
signals and can be used with AC coupled amplifiers.

Specifications

Bridge: 120 ohms to 1K ohm

Bridge excitation: Accepts 0.5V to 10V excitation, for 0.25V to 5.0V gage voltage

Controls: Four-digit cal-resistor select thumb-wheel, 100 ohms to 999.9K ohms in 100 ohm steps with ±0.1% accuracy. Amplitude: screwdriver adjustable from 0.25V peak to 5V peak

Frequency: Switch-selectable 1kHz or 10kHz

Connectors: BNC to bridge, banana jacks to measure cal-resistor

Power: Operates on two 9V batteries. Eveready type No.522 or equivalent
